Art. Alcohol. Awesome.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit a Fort Collins favorite spot, Pinot’s Palette.

You can see the calender online and choose a day or painting that looks best for you. The studio even offers private rooms for parties and hosts plenty of local charity events.

For about $25-$35, visitors of all ages, experience levels, and artistic abilities are provided a canvas, paintbrushes and paint, and a step-by-step instruction on how to create your very own masterpiece. The class is led by an art instructor while music plays in the background. Classes are generally about two or three hours long.Image

As if this wasn’t enough, the studio also offers a bar. You can’t get better than that. Wednesday nights are Ladies’ Night (which gets your first drink free) and the first Sunday of every month features “Sunday Funday” with bottomless mimosas. Sign me up…again.

By the end of the experience you truly do feel like Vincent van Gogh (Just less crazy and with both ears attached to your head).

Maybe that new-found ability has something to do with the wine though…

Cheers!
